About us
Different journeys, one calling. Meet the people & the story behind Frontier.
01 — Our heart
The whole city /
Every street /
Every story /
02 — The name
fron·tier
/ˈfrʌn.tɪə/ · noun
The leading edge of something new & full of possibility.
A frontier is only reached by stepping out in faith. For us, the word speaks of adventure, courage & momentum, and of a God who calls His people & leads them into new places. It also echoes our spiritual heritage from the Newfrontiers movement.
03 — The people
The team
Our team is growing. Meet some of those involved…
Leading the team
Pioneers at heart, Gordon & Natalie led the team that planted Hope Church Sittingbourne in Kent in 2018, & Gordon is Course Director for UP: The Urban Planting School. Now Jesus is calling them North, & they hope to make Liverpool home by early 2028.
Living in Kensington
Tim, Emma & their young family relocated to Liverpool with another couple to pioneer Relational Mission’s Liverpool Gospel Plant in 2020. Kensington has won their hearts, & it’s where they live out their everyday faith.
Moving continents
Paul & Bobbi trained with UP: The Urban Planting School & have a great big heart for Liverpool, the UK & the Relational Mission family. Living in community, making disciples & joining God on mission is their passion, & they’re excited to be part of the Frontier story.

We are Relational Mission
We love being part of the Relational Mission family of churches. Together we have a vision to be globally fruitful, crossing all boundaries to reach the nations, make disciples, and plant locally-led churches.
“Together we preach Christ, and plant and strengthen churches to the ends of the earth.”
